I guess I will go refresh my reservation a bunch of times between now and the end of the week to see if my AWD Pro S Plus moves at all. It'd be nice to not pay the extra $1500. I reserved in May, not that that means anything in this goofed up reservation system.

Yeah, I know. I also ordered the harder to find Tourmaline Blue so I'm probably not near the front of the line even if they do start making AWD Pluses.

I wish you all the best of luck with the assembly date lottery. You basically have 10 shifts left by my calculations (1 tonight, 6 more to the end of the week, and then the 3 on the 3rd). Problem for us is that the AWD Pro S Plus gets pushed out of the limit for the MA tax rebate ($55K) and I have no reason to believe my car (status 10 since October) will be assembled in the next week. Alas.

I am not paying additional 1500! I have been waiting since December 2021 with original reservation of MY21..Done with VW.. I have second order from August 22, which is showing ETA Dec - Feb 23, status 10 approved by factory. Not going to wait and definitely not paying extra 1500! VW can go and make their ID4 popular I will not be that customer! Most ridiculous thing I have ever witnessed. No respect or value for their reservation holders and what a shameful way to treat customers who has been waiting for longer than a year.

Yup, in NJ same thing ev rebate is only upto 55k so with this addition of 1.5k to AWD Pro S Plus is really going to cost 2k+1.5k. not going to work.. and very I likely, that car is going to go on assembly in less than a week!

Our dealer offered AWD Pro S black + cosmic which I really don't want. Need any other color but Black with lighter interior

I'd call the local dealers to see. I've been called by 3 places offering me AWDs, even though I straight up told them "I don't do markups out of principle". I was able to get a red one, though I like the black ones too. Your limit's gonna be the Cosmic interior, but if I were you, I'd seized this opportunity before the dealers realized the tax credit is extended (in my experience we are way more up to date than they are).

Yup, still got mine in RWD stuck at 10. A few weeks ago my dealer gave me a range of 12/21-1/10 for delivery, and as of a few days ago didn’t have any updated information. I’m not at all optimistic about getting it in that window, and with that I’m probably seeing this BS price hike…

My dealer as of yesterday still says it's likely within January, if that's true I wonder if the Tourmaline Blue ones were in the batch that's already been made and they'll be shipped after the holiday break? Not that there's any rhyme or reason really.

yeah I've been trying to find any cancelled Tourmaline AWD Pro S but none to be had anywhere nearby so far, otherwise I'm just gonna stick it out most likely at this point

Let's hope that's the case. I am in the same status for T Blue,/cosmic AWD PRO S PLUS Because if price hikes 1500 then I will be out.. it also disqualify our NJ state rebate of 2k so that $1500 hike is really going to cost $3500
