I got that email 3 days in a row but the portal still shows 15-1. The MSRP shown is $43,995 (in view configuration).
Called the dealership last week and they are showing the vehicle could be on the lot some time in March 2023.

This is for the 2023 ID4 RWD Pro in NJ.

I reserved back in early August 2023. Is Volkswagen honoring the MSRP posted during that time? My dealership wrote up the purchase order at that time as also to reserve the NJ charge up rebate.

Got yet another assembly email today but when I checked the reservations page it still says 15-1. Have they ever sent out these "your EV is now being assembled" emails before? I never heard of this on another forum or this one? Anyone else who got this email still at 15-1?

Yeah, me too (05 since mid-Sept. 2022), and my estimated delivery date changed today from Dec-May to May-July -- just ridiculous. Also, the chrome extension now says that I will get the LG battery...ugh.

My delivery date didn't change, and there is no battery designation for mine yet I guess, as nothing is showing up on the extension for me.

Ours is a Pro S Plus AWD, however, so may have different timing than yours. In the Chrome extension stats, today is the first day that I have noticed a Pro S Plus moved to "in transit" and there is also one showing it is at the dealer. This gave me hope since we are finally seeing a little movement with the Pro S Plus AWD trims. 🙏🏼

I hope you get it soon. My guess is that the delay on Plus trims in the fall had more to do with parts/chip supply than what they were choosing to build, since it's presumably a more profitable trim. I think the opposite is working against us lowly Pros. If you're in IL as your name suggests, that should also help delivery time- I believe it's a quick truck ride up from Chattanooga. For delivery here in Oregon, they may as well be loading it onto a covered wagon.

Just looked again and now delivery date went from Dec-Feb to Feb-March status 15-2. Maybe this is it. No more changes on delivery date for my reservation.

My Pro S plus AWD reserved in June and locked in October also just went from Dec-Feb to May-June. And I had just noted that a few pluses had moved to production and even to dealers. I had been hoping for Feb to get the full tax credit before the battery rules take effect. Maybe the IRS will be really slow!

I got the 3 emails.
I checked my status on the owners portal, just today it went to leaving the factory. It now shows the old MSRP, $51295, I'm pretty sure it was showing $52795 before. This is on firefox, w/o the browser addon.
On Chrome, with the addon, it is still showing $52795.
The dealer called to see if I wanted a different one with the cosmic interior, but I declined.

Same here, more or less, except my 15-1 AWD Pro's ETA updated from December - February, to February-March. I'll give it a week before looking again. Unless, of course, I get a fourth We're Building your ID.4 email from VW.
