What's your status code? Mine is still 20-2.
Have you checked your dealer's website to see if they have ID 4s in stock? LOL.
Still 20-2. Was wondering if status updates are just super delayed or if your dealership was wrong and the cars are on the SFL Composer arriving in rhode island tomorrow night instead because our status changed to 20-2 a week after siem cicero left emden but only 1 day after sfl composer left. No cars with my specs on dealership site.

It wasn't my dealer who told me my car was in a boat. It was a VW Customer Care rep.
Thus far, the dealership's help/info has been sub par.
The receptionist mentioned earlier gave me a number to talk to 'Paul' - a Super ID 4 sales rep at the dealership. I am expecting his call back tomorrow.

I will update here whatever I find.

P. S. Manda's car's been sitting at RI port for over a month now. I fully expect our cars will 'move' after Manda's... so that means... sigh...

I’m still at 20-2 as well. My dealer’s site shows 3 cars ‘In Transit’, none of which match my specs.

Ah ok then its that they update the status very slowly. Hopefully we don't have to wait that long because they are rolling out the interim updates now. Dealerships are usually run by sales people that are not tech savvy at all, so i am not surprised they are not able to navigate any database system they might have access to. Some of them don't even understand EVs fully.

My dealer's website has ONE car with same color and trim as mine. (Coincidence? Maybe. Is it mine? I am hoping!)
The car's listing even shows VIN.
I know there are people who has VIN of their ID 4s.
Do you know where/how I can get mine?
From your dealer. They have a dealer portal called www.vwhub.com that gives lots more info such as VIN and dates loaded onto rail, truck, ETA.

Seems that cars don't show up on Dealer web sites until Status 30-3 "Cleared Customs, waiting to load on transporter".

I'm still 30-1 in Houston (mid-May arrival) and my vehicle is on the dealer's website. Guess my configuration pages isn't being updated.??

I spoke to the ID 4 "specialist" at my dealer and he gave me my VIN. Using it, I was able to confirm that the 'coincidentally colored and trimmed ID 4' on their website for sale is indeed mine.

The specialist can't tell me when I will get my car other than July-August '22.
As to where the car is, he can only tell me, "it is on a vessel."🤷‍♂️

"30-1 Arrived in port but not unloaded yet."
Of all the status codes, I think 30-1 should be one of the shortest duration to stay on. After all, 30-2 is "Unloaded from ship, not cleared customs yet."

Do the vehicle carrying ships stay docked for days and weeks and months?
I suspect that is not the case.

I think following the status code is a fool's errand. The code 30-1 is especially troublesome because if the codes are reasonably accurate, no one's 30-1 should last longer than the vehicle transporter's docked time plus a few days. There are people staying on 30-1 for weeks and on. It doesn't make sense. You and I are probably better off watching Manda's progress.
