Hello! I am posting for my parents as they can’t figure this kind of thing out! My dad recently got a 21 plate ID 3. He took it to get it serviced the other day and since he got it back, he’s been experiencing some issues.
The voice control activates randomly when driving. However, the most pressing issue is that the car radio will remain on when the car is locked and off. Yesterday, my mum heard it playing music at full volume at 1/2am. When the car is locked, it turns off for about 10 minutes then starts back up again. My mum had to move it down the road and walk back to the house! They are very concerned that if there are issues like this, the car will be dangerous to drive.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there anything we can do to fix it? VW have said that the car can’t be serviced again until the 22nd, so we’re hoping there’s something to be done as they don’t want to deal with this for 2 weeks!
