Hi everyone,
I just started driving my new 2023 ID.4 and I found very quickly that my kids (5 and 8) who still ride in booster seats, have a hard time getting their seatbelts buckled because the receiver is low and flush into the seats. This isn’t unique to ID.4, my Niro had the same problem. To solve it I used seatbelt extenders that clicked into the receiver and the other end was another receiver that stuck up higher where the kids could reach it easier.
Now here’s the real question. The extenders I used for my Niro won’t work with this car because the seatbelt tongue that clicks into the receiver is shaped differently. Has anyone else run into this issue and solved it? I had to order 3 different sets of extenders for my Niro before I finally found a set that fit, and if anyone uses a set that they know fits it would be great to avoid that hassle.
Thanks!
Bill
