I just drove by the cargo terminal where cars are delivered in San Diego and it looks like someone will be getting an ID4 pretty soon. The National City Marine Terminal is located on the National City waterfront at the south end of San Diego Bay and is the Port’s “roll-on, roll-off” cargo terminal. The San Diego Unified Port claims that it is the most advanced vehicle import/export facility on the West Coast.

Are these exclusively for the California market, or the entire west coast?
If you are close enough to one of the 2 ports in CA (Benicia and SD) you get them. WA and maybe parts of OR get them through Houston by rail+truck. See:

Is anyone else wondering about port security there? Like, is there a Blue ProS in there somewhere...?
Security is less of an issue than it used to be - they ship the cars in "transport mode" which limits them to something like 20mph. That's good enough to get the cars loaded and shipped to the dealer, but nobody would want such a car, so theft is less of a concern. The dealer then has to use a special tool of some sort to get the car out of transport mode before delivering to the customer.

Just a side note in terms of security. I believe ports fall into Department of Homeland Security protocols. You aren't supposed to even fly a drone overhead of the port without permission. So Ocean's 18 your Blue ProS if you want to just be forewarned. LOL
