Hey guys! Day one with my ID4 Pro and loving it so far! Quick question: I plugged in my car using a standard level 1 outlet and it's charging ok but there's the sound of rushing air coming from the front of the car kinda like the AC is on. Is that normal?

If your garage is warm, it is probably systems running coolant to cool the pack. Battery management systems on all EV tend to run heat or cool when temps are less than optimal. For Li Ion batteries, that optimal temp, like people is around 70F. This battery management will run more frequently when plugged in to the grid in most cases, whether or not it is actively charging.

Wtone, welcome to the forum. You'll find this forum to be invaluable as you start to explore all the features of your new ID.4.

The fan noise coming from the front of your ID.4 is normal. As far as I can tell, it always comes on when you're charging your vehicle, regardless of which charger you chose. It's not as noticeable when you're outside because of the ambient noise; more noticeable in the garage because it's so much quieter.

When you start a charging routine, you'll hear a "click" coming from somewhere in the car, followed by your infotainment system displaying your charging status. Soon thereafter, you'll hear the fan come on which heats or cools the battery during charging. I might also recommend that you start the Car-net app on your smartphone so that you can remotely monitor the charging process.

Right now, the fan comes on regardless of ambient temperature. Hopefully in future updates the cooling system doesn't turn on unless it's actually needed. Level 1 charging shouldn't need backup cooling at all when it's 50F - yet it still turns on the fans. A minor use of energy, but still a waste.
