Has anyone found a way to enable split screen Android Auto? It is supposed to work on screens 7" and up, so my Pro S definitely has the right size screen... Yet I can't figure out how to get it to show both music and maps, it only wants to show one app at a time.

It's a good question. Sounds like it's still rolling out. Not sure if it's gated by Google or VW.

There is a hack out there (link), but I haven't tried it.

Will be nice once feature is available.

Yeah I saw that, but I'm not tech savvy enough to edit the code of my head unit haha! I'm hoping it rolls out to the VW. From what I've read, it's on the car manufacturer's end, not Google.

Yeah this is what I want! But no, I don't have a rooted phone. I was hoping to there would be a simple way without needing to do that. I just can't understand why it's such a hassle to get something so simple.

I cannot connect my Android auto wirelessly. I have a galaxy s10+ and it will not connect. I can use it by plugging my phone into a USB port.

I'm personally glad that we don't have the split screen android auto. I had that on my CX-9 and I'd rather have the larger map. Giving us the option to choose would be best though.
