For openers, I am not interested in finding some way to cruise down the interstate with my hands off the steering wheel. The issue I am having however is that I just happen to have a light touch on the steering wheel in any car, but on the ID4 with the lane control/assist activated, its constantly nagging me to keep my hands on the wheel when in fact, they are. To satisfy the computer, I have to grip the wheel harder than I am used to do and I find it uncomfortable on a long drive. Was wondering if there were any techniques to lessen the impact. I wonder for example if I turn the lane control thing off would it still nag me. I have read that tesla drivers have been known to put weights or grips on the wheel to actually defeat the nag and go full auto pilot, and, as indicated, I have no interest in that all. Was wonderng if any ID4 drivers have found safe and reasonable way of lessening the nag from the car. Thanks all.
