Has anyone had their sunroof tinted?
Just wondering if folks have pursued this at all for UV protection (not necessarily for darkening) and what your general quotes/pricing has been.

I'll be doing this as soon as I can. My tint shop that has done all of my cars for the last 30+ years said they couldn't do it for fear of the electronics, pending some more info from unnamed sources. Apparently they've had some drips from sunroof tinting in an Audi fry something.

On a related note, if anyone in the Houston area knows of a place that will do this, I'd love to get a name.

Concerns with putting a tint on the panoramic sunroof?
I know there is a lot of water used when applying a tint, but that surprises me.
That said, abundance of caution with a new model makes sense... Though one of us is going to need to take the leap eventually
