can't use my bosses charge card. it's only based on the app with a personal payment option.
so no NFC reader for business charge cards/tokens
I don't care about that! I just want pictures of an iD4 charging at a Supercharger! (😂).

Can't you link the boss' charge card to the Tesla app?

This will be more difficult in the US, since the Supercharger network here uses the Tesla proprietary plug where you guys in Europe were able to force them to use the J1772 plug. It will be interesting to see what they have to say about the US.... I'm not holding my breath just yet.

Let us know how it goes!

They've already said they will have adapters at the superchargers. Im more curious to see how the communication goes between the car and chargers since it won't match anymore.

you can take a €12.95 a month subscription and then prices drop to around €0.24-0.26 depending on location. Am guessing that Tesla’s are paying around that price too
With the present conversion rate Euros to dollars, the Tesla price per kWh after paying the subscription is cheaper than Electrify America’s price with a subscription. EA’s cost to subscribe is lower than Tesla’s.

They are dirt cheap after subscription. Probably even cheapest. My own prices at home are already 0.23 euro a KW and all other vendors are between 0.35 and 0.55 or even upto 0.79 for a non-member charge at Ionity (European EA) along the freeway.

One issue that is going to come up is the inconsistent placement of the CCS port on non-Tesla cars. On Tesla, it is always the same, so they all tend to back in. The nearest plug is on the driver's side, so that's the one that belongs to the stall that you pulled into.

The ID.4 also has the port on the back, but on the opposite side. So if we were to back in, we would naturally want to grab the cable on that side, but that cable technically belongs to the next stall.

Well, designers and engineers don't think the same, do they?

So, as you were to back into the Tesla charger stall, the cable isn't long enough to reach the charging port? How about using the D-post as the guideline. As it passes the stall then immediately stops the vehicle? I believe the charging cable is long enough. The cable is about 20-25 ft. long.

For a Tesla home EVSE, yes, for some of them. But for a supercharger? It doesn’t appear to be anywhere near that long.
