Propulsion unit noise is fine with me...i don't mind noise like airplane is taking off when accelerating..... but they could do better job with noise coming inside.... installing plastic type of carpet on the fender walls inside can easily correct tire noise....most luxury segment vehicles are using this on inner side of fender shields.

2) The issue is if it needs repair it sounds like a very pricey one and I've never seen anybody describe a positive experience with the expediency with which their Tesla repairs were delivered.
The actual maintenance cost of ICE vehicles end up being lower than of Tesla given the extreme repair costs:

manufacturing process and volume fully revamped from MS to M3. numerous design changes made last minute. mass production with little evidence of a servicing plan to match the volume. explicit lack of design adjustments (or experience) to lower repair costs. but this was already answered...
so u question tesla's quality build but wont address tesla cars that were built 10+ years ago because ahem manufacturing process revamped... tesla 3/y are some of the most safest cars on earth at the moment. you can literally drive off a cliff with your entire family inside and come out alive.. you can also get tboned by a pickup truck with your kids in the back seat and walk off with minor injuries:
LOL, not quite. In 2013 Tesla built 20K cars, were not focused on profitability, had a completely different build process, and the reputation of those models were already "mechanics' worst nightmare" if repairs were needed. Your expectation of in-depth reasoning on how the issues of limited series early cars differ from the post post-Alien Dreadnaught era's cars produced at 100x the volume implies that this is a wasted effort.
You seem to equate risks of ownership with safety. Most of us won't drive off a cliff in an attempt of murder-suicide... or even be t-boned by a pickup. Most of us however, will have to deal with car maintenance at one point. So the real risk of buying an older tesla without warranty is unexpected repairs. Or as @VW TECHNICIAN eloquently explained the cost of using cast aluminum is very high body repair costs. Overall these make the maintenance of a Tesla much costlier and the insuring it x2 as expensive than most other cars of the price range (or above).
but according to your insights.. newer model 3/y are inferior in quality due to cost reduction yet somehow those cars are able to protect the people that sit inside while falling off a cliff and getting tboned raises eyebrows

To be clear, despite the other poster's anchoring on safety, I don't even bother arguing with people about the topic because many just have an insurmountably poor understanding of statistics (otherwise we wouldn't still have >40% of traffic fatalities happen in unrestrained occupants).

least reliable according to who? how many tesla have you own? critics are always the biggest loudmouths. kinda of like the yelp crowd (thats another topic we can debate). whats the statistic on disatisfied tesla owners.. if tesla are so horribly made, why do people keep buying them? why do they have long wait time? tesla isn't some new random ev maker like vinfast where nobody knows how the car is.. theyve been around for 10+ years.

The whole issue with this Tesla worship is that I've been following Tesla closely for the past decade to remember the evolution of a lot of promises and compromises many of these newcomer fans don't. For example the basic premise of the model 3 was to make a 30K EV, and to make this happen, we'll have self-assembling assembly plants (aka. alien dreadnoughts) as the first step of an era where benevolent AI will lead us to Utopia. With this, I also vividly remember learning of all the design compromises that were made to keep the car affordable. I followed all the leaks, etc, and was fairly certain that the original plan was a HUD and so I found the idea of the speedometer in the Left Upper corner ridiculous (and it's even worse in practice), or when it came out it didn't really do voice commands, etc. And after my roadtrip with the M3, I was like I'm willing to pay $42K for it (not a cent for FSD), perhaps even willing to accept some of the terrible loan options offered by Tesla, but then the price went up by $3K almost weekly. But what really put me off is Tesla dude's excuses like "ohh it's so hard to find raw materials" bla bla bla. I can accept greed from a capitalist, but I can't when they take me for a sucker knowing they have a $20K profit margin per car.Indeed. I haven't driven a M3, but drove a MY performance a couple months ago. It was fast. The tech was snappy and well executed (given many disagreeable decisions made about how much to put into the screen etc). I didn't need to use L3, but I'll freely grant that right now that's vastly superior to any CCS car. One pedal driving was nice in that it came to a complete stop (but tuned way too aggressively with no adjustment - it was fun for performance driving, but would drive me/my family nuts in daily driving.
I honestly can't say much else positive. I'll spare the very long list of things I didn't like as I've been warned by a mod to back off on the Tesla criticisms
This is to slow down the increase demand that cannot meet realistic production time, however will probably cause the opposite effects and benefit selling used Model Y.
