Hopefully this is not a sign of what's to come. Fortunately this Chargepoint station is at the back of a business and not a convenient place to park a Gas Vehicle .

I prefer a future where EV's and Gas cars share parking. To accomplish that there have to be enough charging stations to make that possible. In the meantime its gonna be iffy.

Electricity and gasoline vapors might not mix very well at proposed dual-use podiums (of course they mix very well within ICE). Just ask Jay Leno!!

I wasn't thinking dual fuel dispensers. Just parking lots with no special EV spaces but enough charging equipment to make it work.

I guess its already being said in the past 8 pages, buuuuutttt as an european:

parallel parking in a city with AC/lvl2 charging is almost always on the curbside if you park along the drive direction (SORRY UK!).
it's safer to have it on the curbside and with the size of the chargeportcover.. im also happy its on the curb side.
