Hi All, new and enthusiastic ID4 owner, first post. I've learned a lot from the forum to date and am loving the car, my first EV. Never going back to ICE for sure.

Has anyone had problems getting power to their OBDII? I bought the Veepack OBDCheck for use during a road trip with ABRP in a couple weeks and I haven't been able to get power to it in the ID4. I tried it in an Acura and my old Jetta and it worked fine. Checked fuse F52 (cigarette lighter, sockets) and it's OK but I'm not sure if this is the right fuse - anyone know? The car is only 2 months old so it would be a surprise to have a blown fuse already. Also I've tried the car in all the various ignition modes I believe, foot on brake, butt in seat, etc.. At a loss for what else to try, any advice is appreciated.

Welcome to the group. Power is always provided on 1 of the pins on all OBD ports, so there is nothing you need to do to get power to it. Just plug it in and watch the lights. I have 2 different models that are working fine in my car. I have read complaints that some with the Veepeak its so loose that it can fall out, and maybe that is your problem and its just not making full contact with all the pins?

That was it - thank you! Although the Veepeak seemed to fit well, I pressed it in very firmly and blue light came on briefly. It took a little messing with to get it to stay on, but its resolved now.
