I live in Phoenix and it's over 100 right now. When I get out of my car and hit the immediate climate control toggle, or if I go in the app and turn on the climate control, it is not NEARLY as powerful as when I sit down in the driver's seat. Even if I set it to "low." Is there no way to keep the car AC fully on when I'm not in the vehicle?

I did get an error notification saying that my aux AC wasn't working and to get it serviced so I'm hoping it's just a problem with mine, but I have a feeling it's not.

The Car-Net App on your smartphone is pretty good about remote pre-conditioning your ID, heating or cooling. In fact it's pretty much the only item I use on this rather feature poor App.

However do so well in advance of your intended departure as it takes quite some time for the App to communicate with the server and then on to your vehicle.

I think it not as powerful by design. Maybe it is better when plugged in. I have not experimented with this yet.

AC compressor under full load can pull 5.5 Kwh and from engineering standpoint this made so when you are not in the car and want to keep AC running it will go to energy conserving mode.
Otherwise if this was not taken in the possible scenario. Some people will be screaming that his HV DC battery drained empty after couple hours. And regarding service lights...i would take it to service and have them inspected.
