Does anyone have any contact information of a loan officer specifically at Gold Coast Federal Credit Union. Been 3 weeks, havent called daily but alot of days have called 2 or 3 times; finally earlier in the week got ahold of a someone who answers the phone. They give me the contact information for my loan officer. Both the extension and email they gave me were incorrect. After enought time I figured out their extension via the phone system and have left multiple VMs for this person. After a couple days of trying different spelling of email addresses; by linkedin was able to figure out this persons name have emailed them a couple times.

At least a dozen follow up and no contact back. If anyone has the email address of a loan officer that helped them; and chance you can privately message me. Might not be polite to put it in the general forums; any help would be greatly appreciated. Bought a car last weekend and only have a couple weeks to get this done.

I gave up on Gold Coast. They never even processed my application. That was over 6 weeks ago. If they haven't hard pulled your credit yet it might be best to cut your losses.

Keeping the ask to the audience live.

Although how did you resolve in the end? Who did you goto?
I financed through VW because I was running out of time to make the 2022 cut off (of course turns out I didn't need to rush but didn't know that then).
Currently refinancing through Tower. The new auto and refi rates are the same.
They have been very responsive and helpful. Should have everything wrapped up by next week.

Called Tower FCU today still my membership is not been reviewed (applied on 01/17). They say a lot of membership and loan applications were received last 1 week and they are going one by one and cant expedite the process. Normal Auto Loan processing time now is 1 month.

They must have got influx of potential Id.4 owners who read this forum. When I applied back in November it was roughly 5 days for pre-approval and 3 days for membership

BofA is 8%, but it could probably be done all in one sitting. Tower looks like weeks of processing, which neither me nor the seller can do. I want to get BofA’s check tomorrow, but then immediately refi once the dust settles. Tower said their refi rates are the same. Does this make sense ?
This is what I did. I financed through VW and am now in the process of a refi via Tower at 2.99%. The refi process is slow but keeps moving forward.

Have you done a search for you local credit unions? You may find a better rate.

You still saved yourself a year of wait time for the tax credit. That's at least $225 worth of interest LoL.

tower fcu got picked up by folks who are looking to buy tesla with recent price drop. probably tower fcu might be going crazy with so many applications. Normally Tower is a very slow processing bank (probably with few loan processors) and for me they took close to 8 business days (back in sept 2022). Their Interest rates are unbeatable (i got it for 1.49% in spet 2022) and still 1.99% for 36 months is very very good rate

Finally, Membership is activated in Tower FCU. Once I get Vin I will try applying for Loan let's see how many days it might take. Applied for membership at GCFCU today, and they said 5-7 days. Loan rates are better now. will try both which ever comes first will go with it.

Got approved with Tower at 3.24% for 72 months. Unfortunately GCFCU did not approve me because they need to see two tax statements including my rental properties so they can be considered income. Oh well. I'll still keep the account open with them in case I need a loan in the future. I'm picking up the car on Saturday. More to come
When you applied at Tower did you have to get both the share and checking, or are you able to just get the savings account to apply for a loan? The site is confusing, says choose one in the application but main page said both for lifetime membership.

Just applied for Tower FCU membership via donation to the Tower Cares Foundation. How long does it usually take to get everything setup and I can initiate a car loan app for my ID.4?
You can start the loan application before your membership is officially approved. In fact I would suggest this, membership approval took far longer than loan approval. They just leave the loan approval as pending until your membership is approved. Membership approval for me took about 2 weeks.

my car is ready for delivery, but my membership & auto-loan is still pending w/ TFCU. Do you know how easy it is to re-finance with them if you already submitted a normal auto loan application?
Right now interest rates are the same for new cars and refinance with them. I'm pretty sure, if you have no other choice but to finance with the dealer, you may have to make at least one payment with that finance company. Honestly you need to call them because they are the best source for the information that you seek.
