Yes, I just had my vehicle in for the first check and they performed the work related to this recall. It involves changing something about the headlight aiming mechanism. It didn’t take much time.

Ha Ha, i had a recall for my 2008 Jetta back in 2009 for the exact same thing. They need to fire the cap installer,😁

I performed the 'recall repair' on my own this morning in less time than it took to fill up the washer fluid reservoir.

I was relieved to find mine was NOT in the recall. Just took delivery a little over a week ago.

It’s a three second fix, literally. When I was in for the Double Check service, I told the service guy who checked me in that it was simple. After they were done and he was checking me out, he said, “Hey you were right, it was simple and fast.”

I took mine in this morning -They said it would take about fifteen minutes. Ended up being 45 because they always wash your car after a service, and their washer mechanism broke while doing my car... They also checked the tires and reset the pressure sensors.
