Yesterday I got an email from the dealer saying that VW had issued a minor recall on my ID.4FE - something about "a cap on the lights may or may not be installed". Did anyone else get notified about this? Any idea what they are talking about?

Excellent - that's a useful link to have. ThanksI didn't get a notice, but it's showing on the VW Recall/Service Campaign Lookup:

I just checked it with my Pro S and it came up as one of the vehicles.looks like FE only. Chked my Pro didn't have anything come up. Thanks tho!
Your dealer is waiting for the parts? As I read the recall notice, the fix is to simply remove the cap from the vertical aim adjuster and relocate it to the horizontal adjuster. That gives me the impression that no parts are required, but of course I may be misreading the recall.I checked my VIN today and my Pro S has the recall notice. My dealer says they should have the parts in prior to my check up on the 16th and they'll do the recall then.
My Pro S on the other hand does not have the notice. So likely a problem they found at certain date and every one manufactured before that date will need the fix.

That's what he said to me. The parts should be there by the 16th when I'm scheduled to come in already and they would take care of it then.Your dealer is waiting for the parts? Would this prevent the headlights moving with the steering? I actually really love that feature. This appears to me to be a USA DOT compliance thing and no actual fault with the headlight system. They just want to ensure we don't have lateral beam movement capability.
I would be more concerned with vertical movement blinding oncoming drivers or not projecting far enough, which has always been an annual safety inspection check box.
