I was excited to go to 15-2 a few days ago. I check each morning for a VIN to appear. This morning the VIN attribute is missing... It's not NUL, it's just not there. Has this happened to anyone else? Maybe it disappears while production is occurring?

It seems to have coincided with a number of us having our estimated delivery dates pushed back. Mine went from Oct-Nov to Dec-Jan this morning and a search for "VIN" also came back with zero results. Sounds like a data shake up on the website.

Back in the olden times of ID.4, VW screwed up something in the logistics such that cars were unloaded at the wrong port. Instead of spending a bunch of money shipping the cars around, they just swapped them, so the VIN numbers that people had were changed. It is possible that there was another logistics snafu, and they are re-juggling the cars.

Me too. VIN is no where to be found. I am at 20-2, and I had my VIN before. Based on 20-1 code and the change to 20-2 and following the ship docked in Germany I know that my car just docked at US port yesterday! So I now start the 10 or so day wait for offloading and customs. My estimated due date has not changed (Sept-Oct). I reserved my AWS Pro S Gradient in Nov'20.

Where are the directions on how to check this info? I can't seem to find a pinned post, but I might be looking in the wrong place.

My VIN number also disappeared, but I just spoke with my dealer, and he said that my ID4 is schedule to arrive on the SFL Conductor in Jacksonville, FL tomorrow.

"SFL Conductor" is a ship name I had not heard of before, so I had not been tracking it. But based on its history at vesselfinder.com (or shiplocation.com), it departed Emden on 9/20. That would mean that I got the "departing from factory" on 9/2, the ship carrying my ID4 departed Emden until 9/20, and I got updated 20-2 code on 9/24.

It will arrive in Jacksonville on 10/7 and is estimated to be at my dealer in Atlanta on 10/18-10/20.

Yeah I saw EstmtdDlvryDate too. They have also adjusted my time on the portal from Sept/Oct to Dec/Jan and the "EDD" listed is 2021-12-01, so guessing the 1st is a generic date they use...

Mine does not have dates that changes but I see a destination charge now of 1195. I don't think that field was previously filled out.
I also see the 1195 for the destination charge field now too. My dealer said our vehicle was in production as of 10/2/21, but it’s still showing “03” status on VW portal and the expected build date field is null. It’s showing expected delivery date of December 2021 to January 2022 though, so I have no idea what information is correct….dealer or website.

When did you reserve and lock?
