Saw that too. Terrible idea and a waste of space.
Although reviewing images I noew believe the shifter is on the right stalk like in the Buzz. The wheel knob on the center console might be more like the dial on Ford's center screen.

From another post: " a self-explanatory infotainment system with classic volume control and a separate air conditioning block"
That sounds more like the Ford knob, and rotary controls for A/C.
