Volkswagen Group Canada will start accepting ID.4 pre-orders in early 2021. When that time comes, quantities will be limited till the 2022 when production at VW's Chattanooga, Tennessee plant is ready to boost North American supply.
If my math is correct, the Canadian market ID.4 will be priced from $46,000 when they finally announce it (probably at the Montreal Auto Show in January).

I just got this confirmation from VW Canada PR

"The U.S. will be receiving the ID.4 later this year for the first customer deliveries while the vehicle does not arrive in Canada until next Summer. As such, the U.S. has already begun the sales process, including a pre-order program. We are presently finalizing details in Canada, and will begin the sales process in the new year. We will not be taking pre-orders centrally prior to the ID.4’s arrival.

The final colour selection will be pretty close, if not identical, to the U.S. selection, but we are still crossing our t’s and dotting our I’s on the order guide."
