Based on the fact some folks AWD units have left the factory, they should be showing up about the same time as the media drive eventThis event will happen (presumably) before any AWD deliveries start.
I'm assuming they might hit the port of entry by then. Still have to clear customs and be put on a train or road transporter.Based on the fact some folks AWD units have left the factory, they should be showing up about the same time as the media drive event
We sure that there are not the same ID.4s?Based on the fact some folks AWD units have left the factory, they should be showing up about the same time as the media drive event
I'd be surprised if they are. My guess is that the cars used will be the ones that are "loaned" to reviewers for their longer reviews. Still, always a good idea to check the car over, including mileage, before signing the deal. I know some were frustrated that the dealers used "their" reserved car as a car for test drives for a couple of days before letting them know the car had arrived. We sure that there are not the same ID.4s?
I would check to see how many miles are on your new ID.4 AWD has before finalizing the sale.
I was joking. I have a terrible sense of humor.I'd be surprised if they are. My guess is that the cars used will be the ones that are "loaned" to reviewers for their longer reviews. They drove my reserved FE 14 miles after I had signed the paperwork and test driven it and asked them not to drive it. The mileage on the title was the mileage on the odometer when I got in it the first time. It's only a couple hundred feet from the wash bay to their Level 2 EVSE, where they charged it to 100%. A first world problem, but so unprofessional.I know some were frustrated that the dealers used "their" reserved car as a car for test drives for a couple of days
Somebody probably thought they had to go gas it up for the new owner 😝They drove my reserved FE 14 miles after I had signed the paperwork and test driven it and asked them not to drive it. It’s about time. Very happy to hear this and will be looking out for it. My car (same model) left the factory last week, but doubt it Will arrive before the review comes out. Getting very excited.VW will be holding media drives of the dual-motor ID.4 AWD model during the week of Sept 13.
