It all depends on your lifestyle. I like it, but it wouldn’t have satisfied my requirement for a small SUV with a substantial cargo area for a large dog. Honestly it reminds me of the Model Y, which didn’t align well with the canine requirement 🐶

It will be interesting to see if the ID.5 has a bit more range than the ID.4? It looks like it has a lower aero drag Cd, with the sloped roof surface.

I like the looks of the ID.4 much better. Especially the back. There is something wrong with that hatch extending beyond the bumper. You can tell by the shadow. And I like the bigger usable space in back of the ID.4.

I am pretty sure that the ID.5 is the same exact chassis platform as the ID.4, and so the ID.4 would have more interior volume. It is actually one of the largest / most usable interior EVs. By Bjorn Nyland's banana box test, only the 5 seat Tesla Model X is larger than the ID.4.

I think the chrome fiddly bits are meant to make that part of the rear fascia look like what people are used to? The ID.4 has a larger area that is left black, so it may be that the ID.5 is being designed to look different, to balance the different roof / hatch line? These pictures appear to be of a slightly camouflaged vehicle, so I wouldn't go by it for the final design.

I like it 👍🏻 It looks more like the Crozz concept (which I loved).
