what's interesting to me is how ridiculously difficult it is to see what features the car has or doesn't have on these dealer sites.

The HK premium audio is mentioned in the summary, albeit in one huge run-on-sentence of a paragraph, but to find the ventilated seats I had to CTRL-F through the page, same for heated rear seats.

I still couldn't find the 360 cameras, so I guess it doesn't have it. I searched for "360" and "area", since they sometimes call it "area view". It's just wild.

@Froggy it looks like for $6k you get the premium audio, folding mirrors, 3-zone Climatronic, and heated outboard rear seats. It's hard to tell what else.

So it would cost an extra 6K to get power folding mirrors and a fancier radio. Plus I would have to use 21 inch tires. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
I rather spend a fraction of that to do the power folding modification myself. Just say even I missed power folding mirror in my old 2021, I can't justify the efforts needed to retrofit my 2024...

@waldo22 don't forget the silver roof rails that @JohnnyForElectric covered up on his ID.4. :ROFLMAO:

I put the local '25 Pro S Plus AWD into PartsLink24 and compared the build equipment to my 2024 Pro S AWD and here are the differences:

and the only thing that I would be interested in is power folding mirrors. My ears aren’t good enough to appreciate the better radio and the dogs are the only ones in the back seat. They have plenty of fur. Really this is both feature deletion and feature creep.

W18 Statement package Plus for USAW06 Statement package Pro for USA
The Plus package consists of the old Gradient package items (bigger wheels, silver roof rails), some content removed from the Statement package (power folding mirrors), and some new content (360 camera, heated rear seats, three zone climate, branded audio). I wish you could get the tech stuff without the bigger wheels, for instance. I ordered my Polestar with the upgraded seats and audio package but with the 19” wheels for better range and comfort…

The vendors that create the dealer websites are typically disappointing.

Just show me the damn Monroney sticker so I know what it has ... or like during covid supply issues, what is deleted on a particular VIN.

Would be great if I could properly (translation "accurately and seamlessly") search by features as well.

Oh, I didn't forget. I was blocking it out, and hoped that if I didn't say anything they would go away. It's not just the roof rails, it's the sides of trim above the windows as well. It's one of the reasons I wasn't as excited as I should be about the '23 Pro S Plus I ordered

I’m currently sitting in a 2025 ID.4 … ask me anything? Spoiler: it’s pretty much just like a 2024.
Was it a Pro S Plus? Guessing based on those heated rear seats and 21" wheels.
Interesting that much has been made of the load rating of the ID.4's tires, and here VW as selling them with a load rating of 102. On 21" wheels. Presumably without a spare.
Was this a front or rear tire? Section width of 255 would indicate a rear wheel, and the fronts have typically had a load rating lower than the rears - so 101? That's a difference of ~550 lbs on the rear axle (~3,750 vs ~4,300 lbs). Lowers my stress about running a square 105 setup.

I know I already have a very nice car but damn...power folding mirror along with Area View...
We have the 360 cameras in our other cars and I find them indispensable for parking in tight spots!

The rear seat panel is very similar to the Buzz zone three climate controls, though the seat heater control is on the door.

Here’s another look at the 360° camera’s view. Especially handy in a minivan.
