Will it be another “put down deposit now and then wait” situation?

Don't know about the deposit, but I'm expecting that the "wait" part of the equation will be there for sure — probably "long wait". I will be very surprised to see these available in the U.S. in any significant numbers before 2025 or even 2026+.

Unfortunately, the way that most of the auto industry functions is to "launch" or "premier" or "unveil" a new model many years before it's actually being produced and delivered in any kind of numbers. It sure would be nice to see the "launch" event of the Buzz followed by an announcement saying "and the Buzz will be in dealer inventory available to purchase and take delivery next month" (like we see for new smartphone launches).

Or, "very long wait" if the history of ID.BUZZ teases vs actual availability is anything to go by. It's been six years now and I'm still waiting to see sheet metal...

The LED in the VW logo is new for this US Buzz, no? I don't think the European trims get this option?

Certain US ID.4's like my Pro S have it as well. I think in Europe there is a law that lights must be arranged in pairs, so a central lighted logo is not an option.

Just hoping for middle row windows to roll up/down. Vents for middle rows? It will be a 2024 model.
Have an old RDX now and no vents in the back. Sucks!

I just hope that they've chosen a high enough PWM frequency for this lighting that it won't look like a BUZZing angry Cylon in my electronic rear view mirror...
