Firm will gauge whether drivers will be prepared for pay-per-mile motoring by charging for optional functions

interesting. I was thinking it could be good for a pay to "unlock" model. "You want auto-hold, here's the fee". "1-pedal, here you go".

Same price for the Model 3 dual motor long range to get from 4.4 to 3.9s. Luckily my 2015 Model S went from 4.1 to 3.9s for free a few garage WiFi software updates ago.
