I think they should just call it the new “Passat”.

And it should be an iD4 with: lower profile tires, 2” suspension drop, 2” off the roofline, 2” more rear legroom, and 4” more rear overhang.

My guess is Atlas-E or something like that for the U.S. market to compete in the 3-row SUV category. All the automakers think that Americans don't want sedans and hatchbacks and station wagons, so I'd be really surprised if the new EV was a sedan, a hatch, or a station wagon. Where does that leave us in the U.S. market? Mid- to large-sized SUV or, call me crazy, maybe even a VW pickup truck? (They'll probably leave that to Scout, though).

Of course, they could go completely nuts and do an e-Beetle... Or for me, a new e-Golf version.

Bought a low mile Black TDI that I don't drive.... But it is mint and I could not see it go to waste. Parked in a garage now...
Passed on a ALLTRACK that two elderly sisters drove to baseball games. Another guy I mountain bike with bought it... Kicking myself for not taking that, he moved faster ...
Then there was a Stage 3 APR tuned Green Alltrack with Brown Interior - nearly $30k in upgrades just for fun... this Alltrack runs is much faster than a Golf R. That is a story car in great hands. Fun for a bit, but not build to last.

Give me a non Audi EV wagen... ID able and willing.

An electric Amarok based on MEB platform would be very interesting. Can’t see it though. VW doesn’t market pickups in the US.

3-row SUV (badged iD6) would be very underwhelming and obvious.

A Scout pickup can very easily be rebaged so VW can have a truck in their showrooms.
