Yeah, not a very useful tool for finding EA stations. Even if you already know where a station is, it doesn't identify what type of station it is until you click on it and even then, it doesn't tell you the specifics, like number of 150Kw or 350Kw cords. To actually 'find' an EA station you didn't know about, you'd be doing lots of clicking before you stumbled across one

Doesn't work for me. When I filter for L3 and DC Fast charge, I see almost nothing. No EA locations. I must be doing something wrong?
Here's what I did.

Btw, I think that's a typo because there's no L3 and DC Fast charge in the "Charger Type" pull-down menu, only L2 and DC Fast charge.
Give it try and I hope it works for you.

Doesn’t the EA app work for you? Finds them all for me. 🤔

In my area Nissan has many DCFC's, whereas VW are L2 only. 🤷‍♂️ Of course Nissan has been in the EV game longer here than VW.

But then most local Town Halls have an L2 EVSE - except my town. :(

Good database tho'. Thanks!

Y, I know that. I don't know why they don't include the charging capacity there, since they have all the data from charging mfrs.

So, sorry, I can't please everyone. Take your complaint to the U.S. Department of Energy.

Btw, it's kW, not Kw, since the honour goes to the late Sir James Watt.

Same. All local Nissan dealers have DCFC but all local VW dealers don't even have publicly accessible charging.

And my dealer only has L2 for private/internal use.

Wouldn't EA's own site be the fastest way to find EA chargers?

Locate a public EV charger | Electrify America
Thanks for sharing. This one is good!

I use Plugshare to locate charging stations for my Volkswagen. I just compared Electrify America with Plugshare, both are almost the same, but Plugshare still wins.

In Plugshare, you can check reviews of other EV owners, plug types, prices, output power, grocery store, parking prices, etc. On the other hand, Electrify America will only show you power output and prices.

You can also check it here: Volkswagen ID.4 Charging Station Map | PlugShare

Also with plugshare you can easily expand your search to other options if EA is not available.
