The ID.Buzz first drives have begun! Looks it's not just Spain that's getting them, it's the UK as well.
Lol... no one believes me when I say that this design has been well over 20 years in the making! It just shows how "retro" designs can be somewhat timeless. That is surprisingly close to the current design - either they have not progressed much since 2001 or the 2001 design was epically ahead of its time!
Sure does - the original designer should be cheesed off if the current one ends up taking all the credit, because, really, it is like adding a moustache to the Mona Lisa and claiming it is an original painting...Lol... no one believes me when I say that this design has been well over 20 years in the making! No, just to the opposite, minivan market is shrinking and nobody buys them. If it sells for a F150 lightening price, why would I get this less room, less powerful van instead? In the US there is no competition so the price could be even higher!
You should see it more as a work van / mini-bus / camper van (eventually) offering. No, just to the opposite, minivan market is shrinking and nobody buys them. If it sells for a F150 lightening price, why would I get this less room, less powerful van instead?
You would buy it if you want to carry more than 5 people. The cargo version isn't coming to the USNo, just to the opposite, minivan market is shrinking and nobody buys them. If it sells for a F150 lightening price, why would I get this less room, less powerful van instead?
What I mentioned is just the fact of where the market is going, it doesn't matter for each individual's choice. Plus ford is making an EV transit which is a lot bigger and provide a lot more room for the usage you've mentioned above. You should see it more as a work van / mini-bus / camper van (eventually) offering.
If I wanted the aforementioned, why would I get an F150 Lightning?
Maybe, until when ford makes an EV expedition based on the lightening, which I think they would. You would buy it if you want to carry more than 5 people. The cargo version isn't coming to the US
It's pretty hard to discuss and compare cars that don't exist.Maybe, until when ford makes an EV expedition based on the lightening, which I think they would.
So is my Transit. I don't see an issue here. From a bad experience exposing a similar large vehicle to the weather full-time, I had a garage built to house it. The garage cost half of what I paid for the van. The rust gods will be kept at bay. Before you get too excited about the F-150 Lightning, see if it will fit in your garage. They are huge!
Whether there's space or not, no frunk is needed! The frunk and its structure add unnecessary weight ahead of the front axle. This will make the vehicle handles more like an FWD than an RWD!OMG the frunk (or lack thereof)! I kinda love it because it's so clear why there's no space there.
