Anyone else feeling my pain? I have not received a VIN number for my FE ordered on 9/23/2020 (12:30 pm EST). I contacted my dealer last week (Sarasota, FL) and they have no notification on arriving US FEs or VIN numbers. I contacted VWOA Customer Service today and the Party Line is US dealers will not have Customer US FE VIN numbers before the Customer is notified through the Owner Reservation Portal. I explained that the Portal seemed useless given the number of other US FE Customers saying they are being notified by their dealers around the country. I have seen a Florida Customer in St Petersburg stating they have been notified by their dealer having his VIN number. According to VWOA Customer Service they stated the only US FE VIN numbers US Dealers could receive before customer notification would be for demo vehicles and that US Customer FEs would start arriving mid March. I find VWs communication in this whole process to be extremely confusing and frustrating for all us of trying to plan for the purchase of our FEs that could be less than a month away.
