According to a recent study, Volskwagen is the most tattooed car brand among car fans.

Compare the Market analyzed Instagram hashtags and posts and made a list of the most commonly tattooed brands. Volkswagen came out on top, with 5,507 posts. Jeep finished second with 2,139 posts, followed by Cadillac at 1,775 posts.

Anyone on here have their own VW tattoo?

Guilty! Got it almost 25 years ago (typing that made me feel old LOL). I’ve had almost too many VW’s to count. For several years I didn’t have any, but picked up a 2020 Jetta as a daily driver early this year and it’s been great so far. Looking forward to adding the ID.4!

I figured there'd be someone with one haha. The ID.4 would look great with your Jetta. Which trim level is your Jetta?

The Jetta is an SEL. It’s a far cry from the GTI’s and R32’s I’ve had in the past, but it’s comfy, efficient, fair amount of tech, and very affordable. Really can’t complain about it. I’m hoping the ID.4 will help me forget the two TDI’s I owned, which are neck-and-neck with my ‘02 GTI VR6 and ‘08 R32 in my list of favorites.

As far as daily drivers go you can't go wrong with a Jetta. In terms of straight line speed the ID.4 should be up there with your VR6 and R32 but it'll be interesting to see about the handling.

This thread's a little old but it popped up in my "recommended reading" and thought it would be fun to chime in.

I also have a VW tattoo I got about 10 years ago now. Got it as both a tribute to a good friend and mentor that passed as well as for the love of the brand. It's the VW symbol in the roots of the Celtic tree of life.

Sounds like a great tribute to your friend.
