So new to the ID4—only 2 day—but had an odd occurrence today. After having modified some widgets, was playing music and switched from Sirius to Apple car play. When I switched, the volume of the music was low so I touched the volume slider to increase it. However when I did that it showed the volume control for voice controls and did not affect the level of the music. Tried increasing volume with steering wheel and same thing happened. I then used voice command to get volume higher which worked and after all the controls worked properly.

Anyone else experience this and any suggested solutions?

I read somewhere else that you push the voice button on the steering wheel, then when you will see a place to cancel that on the infotainment screen. Once you do that, it works as it should.

Press the X mark on the left to shut down the voice control. Or tell the voice control to CANCEL.
