Very Nice and Congratulations!!! I'm sure you'll enjoy it and the newspaper will now go even longer before being read.

"The Gong Show?" 🤪 They had me pose for website pictures with my salesman and the owner so I do empathize.

btw: couldn't help thinking what I could do with that nice empty garage. I like creating project-efficient spaces more than I like the actual projects. ;)

Congrats! The black looks great, looks like I made the right color choice for my AWD!

@MBrandenburg Since you had an eGolf before (if I remember correctly), how does the ID4 size feel to you at a visceral level?
Right now it feels MASSIVE. It will take some getting used to especially because I'm so small. I love the power mirrors for parking in smaller spaces like the parking structure at my office. But it's a lot easier on my knees to hop up into and down from the seat, as opposed to sinking down and trying to get back up from the eGolf.

I can understand small brown trim pieces, but I don't understand why they thought it would be a good idea to cover the whole front dash with it...and only for the American versions
I'm really hoping they come out with one of those carpeted dash protectors, so I can cover it the hell up. Hideous!!

This is true on the tall end of the spectrum too. I’ll never own a sedan or hot hatch if I can help it.
