Does anyone's windshield wiper low fluid light stay on, even if it's full by chance? If so, does anyone have a solution? I heard that using products like Rain-X or blue additives, which I do, causes the problem and that adding salt to the reservoir will clean and fix the problem. Any thoughts? Thx, Tony

I would just double check the sensor and ensure it is plugged in all the way, it may just be loose or bad. They do measure resistance. I use the Rain-x (bug remover and repel) and have had no issues.

If it stays on with full of fluid...bring it up for repair...you have warranty and don't need to fix it yourself.
I did mention it to the dealer and they are the ones who told me that it was the Rain-X that coats the probes and causes the problem. They said to add salt to clean it but I'm hesitant because I don't want to clog the system. Thx 4 the reply! Tony

I've tried Rain-X, the blue stuff and plain water. Still malfunctions, will take to dealer for repair. Thx 4 ur reply...
Try to get it with your schedule..... it will take couple hours for this repair....but they can inspect sensor status and connector while at the service and order new parts and let you go on your journey and return when they have parts at hand to fix...also check out recall some models need some adjustments for heating strips to keep windshield fluid from freezing.
