Yeah as long as the connection is a CCS1. You won't pull more than 170kWh though.

 

Any idea long does it takes to charge from 10-80% on 350 kW charger pulling 170kW?

 

Any ID.4 can use an EA 350 kW charger. My MY 21 won't get more than 125 kW of power from an EA 350 kW charger, but it can use the charger.

 

I think the 2023 VW ID4 pro with 82 kW battery is upgraded to have 170kW Charging capability.

It’s fine for estimating L1 or L2 charging, but not DCFC. L1 and L2 charging curves are generally flat, which this calculator assumes.

 

There is not much time shaved using 350 kw charger. 150 kw will be more than enough for 2023.

 

Renown YouTube vlogger Kyle Conner says that most/all of the Electrify America 150 kW chargers can deliver 175 kW.

 

Most if not all over report actuall numbers.
Reports without having data are not to be trusted by YouTube EV advocates.
I do admire Kyle and I have meet him once, but he is not providing can bus data to make most of his statements legit.
All EA charging stations are hard set for max output and this cannot be manipulated by software changes. EA reports all inefficiency on the display and are billed to the user of session. I have not recorded yet one EA charging station to deliver over advertised numbers on the plate.
