I ordered on the same day, can I ask where you got the eta from? I'm not seeing it.

 

I ordered in October and advised delivery April 23. But this week had an update that 2 tone paint is giving them some trouble and delivery for 2 tone may have to wait to 2024! Seems a bit extreme…

Dealer has said the same thing about two tone paint. And if you look at the price list at the moment they have increased the price for two tone by nearly £800 (it is now listed as £2,325.00 before VAT up from £1500.00 before VAT) -- clearly trying to discourage people from ordering it!

I ordered end of May in the Netherlands. Two tone Max 1 st edition. Dealer just confirmed the delivery 1 st week of January 2023

 

I ordered August 31. Also a two tone 1st max.
When I ordered the dealer said production in week 51. A few weeks ago it was week 12 2023 and now the don't now anymore.

 

does anyone know if status tracking is possible with an order number only?

 

I think that is only possible in Germany.

 

Paid a deposit in June to reserve a place on the dealers wait list, formal order with full spec submitted on 23rd August, got a call from the dealer in late November telling me it was in the country, it then went into a black hole for about 3 weeks before finally arriving at the dealers in mid December. Picked it up 21st December its a Candy White Cargo..

So far I love it ,,,but I've only driven 170 miles in it, I work approx 120 miles away and am waiting for a changing card to be delivered. I'm not brave enough to take it on a work trip until I know for sure I can charge it and get home. I picked it up on 21st Dec and last drove it on the 28th Dec. It's also somehow picked up a slow puncture on the rear passenger side so I'm taking that to the dealer tomorrow for them to work out what is up, the tyre is meant to seal itself agasint small punctures, I've had the wheel off and can't see any damage at all to the tyre so my money is on a valve issue, I think getting weight rated tyres for these things is a game of patience right now so I really hope its the valve.

Thankfully I still have my other work van and am able to work whilst I sort these few bits out.

I ordered my 1st edition Buzz the day after they opened up the books last March and got it last Thursday. Very pleased with it, but need to learn more about all the various "systems" it has. It is rev 3.2.0 software which seems pretty solid so far.

What is the price ratio between an ID. Buzz and and ID. 4 in Europe? Trying to predict how much they will cost in the US.

last update: they don't know when mine will be deliverd...
Ordered: begin of june 2023.
first delivery dates mentioned: first half of 2024.
Begin of december they mentioned that my car was on the list for the 23th of januari 2023

I called last week => The status isn't changed, they called the production and they don't know why that date is in the system, or what the status is... I was so excited, now i'm very unhappy...
Ah well, gone continue driving my caravelle... Also a nice car .

 

Yes! Just called the dealer: The car is in production. Estimated time of arrival: mid march. Still can switch, but the guy assured me he was definitly in production . Now the countdown can start

I read the whole topic and made sure that I would not place an order. more risk than expected

 

Ordered same time. Last update (Jan 16) said on its way to Emden and would arrive at dealers in February. Still no further information.

 

i pre ordered mine in July 22 and was told Jan 23 build then got update in Dec22 to say delivery has now been delayed to Sep 24. not impressed

 

After a radio silence of a couple of weeks finally got word from VW dealer. The delivery is now expected the first week of July this year. Ordered it (1st Max two tone) last week of May last year and delivery first supposed to be in January of this year. So a delay of about 6 months.

 

and he is in Belgium... Next week @the dealer, and some days later on my drive way !!! Pics will follow soon!
