The massage stays on for 10 minutes. You can press the button again to get another 10 minutes, or you could press the button before the 10 minutes are up, to stop the massage.

 

Can anyone describe the massage seats? There’s no Pro S at my local dealer to try. Does it have those internal “rollers”, or is it some sort of simple vibration thing. Trying to decide if I try to find/order a base model or not.

They are just three air bladders at different heights in the lumbar area that inflate and deflate one by one. I would describe the effect as subtle but pleasant.

 

I agree. Nice feature and in both front seats, not just the driver seat.

 

I saw on the vw video on knowyourvw.com site under memory seat functions around 00:40 mark that says you can press it two more times to vary the intensity. I was trying to do that but ended up just turning on and off. Is there really such feature or my timing is just off pushing the button?

 

I'm having the same issue. I've tried to push it twice to increase intensity (as described in the VW videos), but I just end up turning it off. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong.

 

Maybe doing it rapidly like a pumping action after you turn it on.

 

I love this feature, but haven't found a way to vary the intensity.

In the US version, the only way to adjust intensity of the massage seats is to play with the lumbar control - if you extend the lumbar more the massage will feel stronger.

In any case, Instead of relying on massage seats, I suggest getting a real massage at a SPA. I recently discovered Filler Treatment in Woodland Hills, and it was amazing. It really helps if you've been driving the whole day.

Worth it for me. I enjoy them

 

I have a 2023 ID.4 Pro S. My massager turns on by itself every once in awhile. Just a gremlin I guess. I just push the button to turn it off if I don't want it on.

 

This happens to me too about once every 2-3 times I sit down. Took it to the dealer. Was treated like an idiot. Very frustrating.

 

Happens to me too, just as you describe. I just turn it off manually. No big deal.
