We have a Rivian Adventure high speed 200kw network by our house. At least 6 chargers. I read somewhere that Rivian was making it available to all ev's.
I tried charging and when I plug in it says on the screen "for Rivian vehicles only"

Any idea of what the situation is?

By the way, I tried calling the Rivian charging number two times. Both times on hold for 45 minutes and I gave up. At least Electrify America answers immediately when I have called with glitches when charging.

I tried one today. The app would never ‘connect’ with the charger.
I tried calling, after 15 minutes gave up.

after getting home, I did a ‘chat’. The person said it should have worked, suggested trying another charger. But I think perhaps they had some issue there (maybe).

This is in Forks, Washington- it is new. This could be quite handy since the next DC charger is in Port Angeles or Aberdeen. In the winter, having another choice is good. Especially if I am making trip out to Kalaloch or Quinault- then can charge and make it in winter.

I will try again next time- but the representative said since I had payment entered in app more the 24 hours, it should have worked.

The Tesla Supercharger there in Forks has the Magic Dock. Charge away!

Definitely Rivian.
The rep I ‘chatted’ with said it should have wored with the ID.4 as long as I had payment info in the app more than 24 hours before trying to use it.
I had set it up a week or two ago when I first heard they put on in there.

I will try again soon and see. When I got home, the ‘chat’ worked just fine but would not work when I was on site. They also never answered the phone.
I had good cell coverage, with LTE.

The representative I chatted with double checked and said it should work For the ID.4

edit: the closest one is an hour away, but if I get out there again I will try to see if it will work. I wish I could have talked to someone on the phone when I was there- but 15 minutes is too long to wait on hold
