I tried to search for instructions here and in the owners' instructions but I'm unable to find.

When my id.buzz in garaged, I don't want the vehicle to automatically lock. I'm regularly going in and out of it and there is no need for it be locked while it is a home already locked away inside the garage.

Anyone have insight to enabling a feature for this?

In the long run you’ll have fewer 12v battery issues with the car if you lock it when parked. When you leave it unlocked everything stays on longer, wearing down the little 12v battery faster.

LOL. Well, that wasn't the question! I don't want to carry (remember to) the key fob with me every time I go to the garage! The Y, next to it in the garage, 5 years later, is perfectly happy being unlocked while it is at home (no 12v batter issue, yet). I just want the same from the ID.Buzz. I walk out to the garage, to to put back the empty grocery bags, for instance, and yank the door handle and find the damn thing is locked. Frustrating. Fine, be locked at the WinCo parking lot while I'm shopping, but you don't need to be inside my house!
