I also have a "noise" in my car (1st non-max). In my case I can hear it up to 60-70km/h. It sounds like someone blowing on a bottle. I have taken it to the dealer and they cant (wont?) hear anything, but they allowed me to test various other ID4s. They all had the same noise, even the ones with smaller battery.
But, here is the weird thing. My wife and others say they can hear it, barely, and they would never have noticed it unless I mentioned it. But to me, it's really loud.
Things I have tried:
- Running on winter tires on the rear wheels (had a flat).
- Filming under the hood while driving (cant hear the sound there)
- Driving on different road type, from gravel to new pavement
- Opening windows
- Driving with or without the boot cover and driving with a lot of luggage
According to a Norwegian news article, other ID4 drivers (and other EV owners) have complained about a noise. In some cases it can be attributed to the infotainment.

I have learned to live with it, since it doesn't bother anyone else, but as I told my dealer, if I had tested the car before buying it I would never have bought it. And I know of at least one other Norwegian that have refused to buy the ID4 due to this noise.
