Best Windshield Sun Shade for ID.4?

Anyone has found the best for our IDs?

I've recently been looking for an option. Despite the AWD having a solar windshield that blocks a lot of heat, the dash and steering wheel still gets hot in the south.
I've seen that Covercraft made a custom one, probably the best for our car? Also weather tech, Intro-tech, and some other smaller brands making them. Also, of course, there's the VW branded one.

My question is, has anyone compared more than one product, or if you can share whatever you have? The VW one is actually pretty cheap, but I'm not sure how well it fits, or how well it works on blocking the heat. I'm currently using the original Heatshield brand (got this for all our previous vehicles) shades from ford escape, and sonata hybrid. One is a bit taller, the other is a bit too wide. Also, neither has cut out for the safety camera behind the mirror.

I'm wondering if I should just go to the dealer and get the VW one, or if I should spend more for the Covercraft. Unfortunately, headshield doesn't seem to make one for the ID.

I got the official one from the dealer and was shocked at how poorly it fit. Picked up the Covercraft from Costco, and it is much better, but not perfect. Real pain to push in the passenger side, helps that I've got a big wingspan, being 6'4".
I don't believe Costco has sold the custom cut Covercraft, was it a universal fitting one? I've always got the custom cut ones for my other vehicles, the universal fit ones just suck. I found online that these official ones have different part numbers for different vehicles. Could it be they get you something for another VW? The correct part number is "Part Number: 11A064366 ", and upon checking, it is a different part number from other VW cars such as GTI.

I have this which I repurposed from my old Chevy SS (Holden Commodore). It's not a perfect fit but works well enough for my needs.

Covercraft makes one for the ID4. It's just not listed on Amazon yet.
Part #: UV11769BL

I think my sonata's shade fits a little better than yours shown in picture. I just couldn't justify the extra cost on these covercrafts. Do you think they really worth the price?

Where did you find that? I have been using Heatshield on all my previous vehicles. But I cannot find heatshield for ID.4 on Amazon.
I got Xpel ceramic film on all windows except the windshield. So side is really not a big concern for me.

I have the Covercraft for my Volt. Fit is perfect, and I used it everyday at the office. I am tempted to buy one for the ID.4, but I don't think I can convince my wife to use it everyday while the car is parked at her work, and it is in the garage at home.

Probably a waste of money for when it is parked outside on weekend trips and vacations, but I have wasted more money on less useful things.

I really like these. They also work for snow, but I don't get much of that in Florida. I've had this one for ~9months and still in good shape. Why I like it:
It keeps the car cooler than the ones that install on the inside.
When folded, it fits perfectly in the wasted space below the console.
They are inexpensive.
I bought mine on ebay for $7, but the listing is gone now. This is a similar one: https://www.amazon.com/HEHUI-Windshield-Layers-Protection-Defense/dp/B09921MXH6

I had the official one from Audi that was I think made by CoverKing. It worked okay, but it was stiff, took up a lot of space, and still sagged under a lot of Florida sun. In the end, between Florida and South Carolina I've always had better luck with ones like things one that collapse:

Amazon.com: Windshield Sun Shade,Car Windshield Sunshade for Most SUV Turck - Best Heat Shield Reflector Cover - Blocks Heat and Sun,Foldable Sun Shield Keeps Your Vehicle Cool (Large=59 x 31.5 inches) : Automotive

That's not the actual one I had for a long time, but close. It eventually died and I didn't replace it yet as during COVID car(s) have mostly sat in the garage.
