My car is finally going in for the HV battery recall. Couple other things too.
  • cabin air filter just cause i'm too lazy to order one and do it myself
  • suspension has gone to shit, there's definitely something loose in there making noise
  • finally getting the sunshade that has been messed up since day one replaced
  • asked for them to throw in a front motor for funsies.

Has anyone on 3.1 been able to reset the service interval? I was able to do it before the update but now it won’t let me change the service interval adaptation also did it always have 2 ls at the end? (Intervall)

Hood open.... safety belt locked...
You need this steps before it will let you access this and do reset.

I’ll try it with the seat belt in the morning, I did have the hood open and the doors closed.
Fingers crossed! The notification is so annoying! And I’m not paying vw to look at things and clear it!

If it doesn't work....you will have to wait for obdeleven to update app for new software Version on ID family
Interesting @VW TECHNICIAN. This is the 2nd time I've read that software version might affect service minder reset ability. I find that so strange that a basic function like a service reminder might be changed across versions. I didn't believe it the first time I read it. I still have a hard time, but since you are the one saying it I have changed my tune. Why would VW change coding required for reset? They are specificallly just trying to make it more difficult, or their is something else in play that isn't obvious to me?

The service minder settings did not work here until after an obdeleven update. Not sure if the base product was updated or my beta version. Also, if you have the yearly subscritpion, the one-click app worked. The cool thing here is that I got to test both methods (one-click and adaptation change) because I have three ID4s (two of mine and my BILs which is around the corner) that I keep up-to-date/customized with OBDEleven.

hmm, I have a pro account but the one click app also said not supported, hopefully it’s something weird like the seat belt not being buckled, but it’s very annoying how user hostile vw has made something as simple as a service reminder. It’s small but it sours me on the whole experience of the car, and don’t even get me started on the terrible software update rollout in general

Would you be able to share how you got the beta update? I just tried it again (car on, hood open, doors closed, seat belt buckled) and it still says not supported in the one click app and same when I click on the service intervall adaptation :(

I agree.........the service reminder reset should be an option in the vehicle menu on the screen, needing no special devices at all. This seems like it would be really easy to implement in a software update.
Instead, either a dealer visit or OBDEleven is necessary. This seems unnecessarily user hostile compared to any other vehicle I have owned.

Questions after 3.1.0 update. Had a MY21 FE and made 3 changes using OBDeleven for control unit 08 AC.
1. temp off set to summer
2. behavior of compressor during moderate temperature
3. blower adjustment to set up more air
i heard all mods get deleted with the update but not sure my mods were deleted. I connected to the car and it shows on the app the mods are still there. Does that mean I still have my mods?
thanks for anyone who can provide info.

None of 1 click app will work with new software.....
You will need to do long coding.

now this is funny - i asked google bard

how to program with obdeleven the comfort windows on the VW ID.4
To program comfort windows on the VW ID.4 with OBDeleven, follow these steps:
  1. Connect the OBDeleven to the car's OBD-II port.
  2. Open the OBDeleven app and select the "Adaptations" tab.
  3. Select the "ZV Komfort_Fensterheber" adaptation.
  4. Set the "Komfort_schliessen" value to "active".
  5. Set the "Komfortbedienung fh schliessen ueber funk" value to "active".
  6. Save the changes and disconnect the OBDeleven.
Once you have completed these steps, the comfort windows feature will be enabled on your VW ID.4. You can now use the key fob to close all of the windows at once.

when I press the door lock button on the handle, the first press is a slight lock, on my second press I get the sound and the blinker confirmation. Is it possible that I can get the sound and the blinker confirmation on the first press?

Hi,
I have a question about specific module 8125.
Just like with my previous VAG cars, I started to adjust a few things with odbeleven.
I can enter almost all modules without any issues. However, module 8125 (application Server infotainment) will not succeed.
The message: ERROR module does not respond. Please check the contact and try again' keeps popping up.
I have already tried numerous possibilities, bonnet open, ignition on / off, door open, door closed, ect ect.

SW is currently 3.2
I am looking for a solution, because this module contains many nice things to adjust.
Perhaps one of you has tips?
Is it even possible to get into that module?

Thanks in advance for your response.
