I needed to perform these AFTER my 2021 S/W was updated to 3.1 in addition to the Seat Memory “programming” (I posted steps - OBDEleven not needed to reset the seat memory in another post). I simply copied the settings from my 2022 (w/3.1 S/W) and then everything worked, as expected. Saved a 1.5 hour/each way + waiting at dealer for re-do. If this didn’t work, I was going to wait until the 40K service and have them do it. But - it’s done. Sharing, as recommended.

@wtatun -- After anxiously waiting for OBDeleven to get their SFD house in order, hoping to apply these easy open changes, I excitedly sat down to do just that today. I found, though, that there were a few of the sub-settings that had similar, but NOT exactly the same wording, and others that weren't there at all. I'm a newbie, so am I missing something? Do I need to put in one of those security access codes (and, if so, what would it be)?

Specifically, I couldn't find sub-settings called "Rear_Lid_Opening_Sender_vehicle_type" , "Easy_open_pre_rest_time", "Opening_height_offset_after_basic_setting" and "Program interstop".

Could OBDeleven have changed these names on their end?

Also, I'm confused by your second page, which seems to show you changing "Easy_open_pre_rest_time" to two different values.

Let me check. Sometimes they change, but worst case, I’ll what my settings are. I happen to be traveling at the moment, but when I get back I can check, if still needed.

Hello all, new to the forum today, and we just picked up a 2021ID.4 Pro S. I already have OBDeleven from my Audi SQ5. I have credits, trying to a) unlock VIM and b) unlock the function where you can type/navigate functions while in motion-not locked out while in motion.

Nothing is working, and keep getting the SFD errors. So I purchased Pro to unlock SFD. Still, these one click apps are not working. And it took 50 credits from me but nothing has gone through/activated. Any suggestions?

Thanks for keeping us updated. I don't have any immediate advice for the fix, but you can definitely ask OBDeleven for your credits to be returned.

Are you using the latest dongle version?

I agree that it's confusing. @VW TECHNICIAN has stated on mutiple occasions that the older adapter will only lead to trouble, while everything in ODBeleven's literature is that the old adapter is equivalent in functionality to NextGen if using an Android phone. 🤷‍♂️

When you ask OBDeleven for your credits back ask them if using the old adapter is the reason that it's currently not working.

I'm using the old adapter, apart from the SPF unlock issues everyone had, I've had zero problems.
Make sure the trunk is open, seatbelt on, doors closed and ignition running. I've heard all of these potentially causing issues.

Unless they have ability to update dongle firmware with old dongle.... i would question old dongle..... I have latest dongle, can't speak with experience on old dongle.
