Slightly bad news - for some reason I cannot backup Module 01 (Engine) although I can access it. All my usual "tricks" failed. This means that I can't do a full backup as it fails.
However I've backed up what I think are the likely modules, if you want any others then let me know. I'll DM you the raw backup.

Thank you. I know several of us have been at this for a ton of time. I’ve changed, tested, and changed back too many settings to see if they did anything. This is the RIGHT way to look for the settings that need to be changed. Thank you.

I would like to have my taillights on when my DRLs are on. It appears that this is possible in Sweden, if I understood correctly. Does anyone know if this can be done for a 2022 Canadian AWD Pro S?

You need OBDEleven for that. I have it enabled on mine due to the rainy weather around here.

Thanks for the positive reply. I live not too far from you, on Vancouver Island and experience the same type of weather. The Auto headlights work pretty well as it gets dark, but I like the extra safety provided by lighted taillights. It really 'bugs' me to observe people driving with just DRLs and no taillights in the fog or at night.

Now to investigate an OBD dongle and OBDEleven purchase. Recommendations?

Yes by using obdeleven and do some coding changes.
I personally love no daylight running lights or tail lights.
Why? DRLs and lighted taillights provide an extra degree of safety by increasing the visibility of your vehicle.

If all you want to change is the DRL I would recommend just buying the ODBEleven dongle and a small pack of credit. They have a one click app to enable this that cost 10 credits.

Another option is finding someone in your area with a ODBEleven dongle willing to make the change for you.

Since software updates may reset this I find it’s best to have your own.

Anyone know if the US models have rear fog lamps? If so, I’d love to enable the function. I noticed moving here to the US not many cars have this function. In Germany all my cars had the rear fog.
They do not come with them installed and do not have the wiring for it in the harnesses. For regions that have a rear fog lamp it is in one of the two rear red retroreflectors. On 2021 and 2022 models in the US you can see the non retro-reflective section where the light would have been emitted and the 2023s in the US have been updated to use the full area as a retroreflector.

note: it's rare to see this feature on cars in the US since there is no regulatory mandate, but most of the time I come across a car with one it is turned on in normal weather... which is not surprising seeing as how many US drivers like to leave their fog lights (or even high beams!) on at all times.

I have a 2023 Id.4 RWD ProS. I still have my first gen ODBEleven Pro, has anyone successfully used the firstgen ODBEleven with a 2023 3.1version? I plugged it in and it appears to see all the modules but doesn't identify the make and model.

My first gen works fine.
I've got a 2023 German built model with 3.2 installed.
I'd imagine it's more likely that OBD11 doesn't recognise your VIN, possibly a format change.
