Park Assist backing into garage

I finally got up the nerve to try Park Assist for backing into my garage. I get the prompt as soon as I pull into the driveway then it pulls forward slooowwly around the circle until it's in position then backs up REALLY FAST into the garage. I do hit the brakes and double-check that it's lined up properly. It's done this successfully several times. I hate backing into the garage, so I would love to continue using it, but am wary. Anyone have issues with it? Would you trust it?

Unfortunately my garage is too small that Park assist cannot detect it and the park memory slams the breaks because there is not enough space for it to work.

Other than backing into the garage more slowly than I do, it works mostly ok. Occasionally, it stops a bit sooner than I'd like, which (if I don't correct) only allows about 1/2 inch of clearance when I close the garage door. I prefer back-in parking because the EVSE cable/connector reaches the charging port more easily. Lastly, I've saved back-in parking to the garage from either direction on the road. The process is slower than when I do it, but while it does its thing, I take the time to unbuckle, grab my phone, [floss, read my Bible], etc. YMMV.;)
