My '22 ID4 is giving me intermittent warnings about the front parking sensors not working. I looked at the sensors and all four show a little wear but none look obviously damaged. Is there any way of finding out which sensor(s) are causing the fault (short of replacing each one at a time)?

I ordered 4 of these sensors for my MY21 as I had the same warning come up, however my delivery units all are the 5WD version not 5WA that is on the original. I assume given the seller quotes both that they would work the same. Unfortunately I installed all 4 and they didn't work correctly. Now instead of the sensor warning I now have the yellow hazard indicator and display showing nothing is working. Any thoughts?

Did you ever get this figured out? My 2021 Pro S gave me warnings about the inner passenger sensor. I replaced with one from Aliexpress and get the yellow hazard a nothing works as well. My oem part was 5WD. I’ve tried both a 5WA from ebay and the 5WD from Aliexpress and both give me the yellow hazard warning afterwards.

No I haven't resolved this yet. I went to take out the "new" sensors the other day but because it is colder now they are super tight so will have to heat them up or wait til the weather gets warmer. Chances are I may be taking my lease back early for a 2024 next week so we will see what the dealer says. Hopefully they say they will just take care of it.

Thanks for the update. It’s frustrating that it’s not just a simple swap out for me like it seems to be for others on here. I guess my last option is to buy an OEM version ($$$) but still unsure of what part number since I can’t find the 5WD version anywhere online from a dealer.

Yes frustrating. My OEM ones were 5WA on my car but I received the 5WD from AliExprss vendor and they claim there's no difference in function.

Just a follow up for anyone who may come across this thread. I did finally get a sensor that worked. It was a 5WA, not 5WD as mine shows, but it came off a parts car 2021 ID.4 so being OEM did the trick(bought on eBay). I think there may just be issues getting third party ones to work. I know others have had no problems with Aliexpress, etc but those didn’t work for me.

Glad you got it sorted out. I am trading my ID in today for a 2024 so hopefully the dealer doesn't ask/care/worry about the sensor warning.
