Kyle from Out of Spec Reviews recently tested an ID.7 for the first time.
Eh, he may be knowledgeable - certainly more than me, but since he upped the release tempo (a few years ago?) he's neither careful nor accurate. When he's saying things so wrong that I catch them, then he's lost the plot for me. And the production quality was getting to me - I think the last time I watched they were still using phones.I like Kyle but yeah he can talk, but thats what makes him very very good at what he does considering he IS very knowledgeable about the batteires, motors, brakes, suspensions chargers dispensors etc.. usally far more than 99% of EV channel heads.
That said he is one the Pushed hard for the ID 4 , absolutely loved it and still does but then woah went opff because ID 4 owners are actuaslly using ther FREE Charging lol .. which is not free anyways...those/our A charging sessions are paid for , no matter if built into price of car , susbidized through priivate investors or publ;ic..makes no difference.. the ID 4's (as well as at least 8 other EVs with "free charging" is PAID For .
He hates peopel that live in town and use the Local DCFC instead of Installing Chargers at home.. which my response is Why the Hell would anyoone charge at home and Pay agai when we have already paid via our purchase.. use the DCFC al you want , clog them up good and the Industry will pick up steam to get more installed. If the DCFC are not at capciaty then why would any company build out more?
Well I come from a few crossover SUVs now (EV6 and XC40 Recharge) and I can safely say that I miss low, efficient cars more than anything. Sitting high up is overhyped if you ask me. I honestly do not see the benefit. At least the ID Buzz is not an SUV though and the best van on the marketID 7 does look good but I'm done with sedans . Next will most likely be the ID Buzz for me (running Uber)
well for one you can seeOVER SedansSitting high up is overhyped if you ask me. I honestly do not see the benefit.
